    w0w I can not tell you how timely this video is in my life. I have confided with a few very close friends/family and have actually sought out a therapist.. thank you so very much for the reassurance.

    Very good, I thank you for the thoughtful considerations expressed. I am there/here. Soon to be 65. I pestered my Mother for a new dress to start kindergarten @ the age of 4. “Little BOYS can’t be little GIRLS!” she told me sternly, still rings in my ears. About the same time, because for a while I was quite insistent, Mom bellowed “WHAT!!, do you want be like Christine Jorgensen??” I had NO idea what THAT was like, but I remembered the name, and learned why, sometime in my teens. And like many transfolk of my vintage have said, we soon learned to never say anything about it again.
    Being transgender never goes away. We learn to live with it, or not.
